An ARC team, or Advanced Reader Copy team, is a group of people who receive early copies of an author's work before publication. The "ARC" refers to the Advanced Reader Copy of the book, a version close to, but not precisely, the final version that will be released to the general public.
The main job of an ARC team is to read the book and leave a review. These reviews can be posted on blogs, Goodreads, Amazon, or other online marketplaces where the book will be sold.
Overall, an ARC team is valuable in a book's marketing plan. They can give the author early feedback, help generate initial reviews, and create buzz around the book's release.
The author (me, Tamsyn) and publisher receive early feedback about the book. This could help identify any last-minute tweaks that need to be made before the final version is released. This feedback can also give the author an idea of how the general public will receive the book.
This may be the most critical part of the ARC Team journey. Having reviews already posted when the book is released can help generate buzz. People are more likely to buy a book with reviews rather than none. Therefore, these early reviews can be vital to the book's success.
Members of the ARC team can also help spread excitement for the book by word of mouth. They might share their reviews on social media, tell their friends about the book, or even post about it in relevant online groups or forums.

1. Read and publish a review for a pre-published book within three days of receipt.
2. Post an honest review about each book on the first day of publication.
3. Be consistent with creating reviews for at least three months.
4. I will use the review portal provided to create the reviews.
5. Include the following at the beginning of the review "I received an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) of this book for an honest voluntary review." This helps to keep your review on the book's page.
Thank you for taking the time to become an ARC Team member. You will get a FREE copy of every book I publish one week before the launch. Please do your best to adhere to the five requests above to join the ARC Team. Follow through to receive a great FREE offer! Again, thank you.
